A leading provider of Fire Protection and Safety Systems throughout the Middle East have a requirement for a Country Sales Director to join their team in Saudi Arabia.

The Country Sales Director will lead National, Regional Sales Managers and Sales Teams to promote the sales of products fire & gas, systems and services in a manner that will optimize company exposure while helping to achieve goals and results in outstanding customer service.

Responsibilities will include:
- Develop a strategic sales plan to advance the company's mission, vision and objectives and to promote revenue, profitability and growth as an organization.
- Achieve company set financial sales targets in all areas of responsibility, in both turnover volume and margin returns.
- To oversee department operations to insure high efficiency, quality, service, and cost effective management of resources and to lead all sales activities; develop objectives and various sales plans.
- To establish and execute the right strategies to win new business within Saudi market in all categories.
- Contribute to the development of sales processes, tools and capabilities and deploy best practices and guidelines.
- Provide leadership and coordination of company sales functions and monitor and analyze sales activities against the established targets and goals.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in a related required field and in this case an engineering degree will be an advantage.
- Postgraduate Qualification in marketing/MBA will be a plus 10+ years of successful sales experience from within the direct sales industry with 5+ years managing sales executives within a successful sales and marketing commodity, technical systems and services organization.
- Has historical proven experience and success within sales & marketing field.
- Track record of success working with senior executive level clients. Must be able to stage a consultative selling process that overcomes objections and indifference and connects "client need" with the company's available solutions.
- Knowledge of direct marketing, sales and services, and the ability to provide an integrated system solution to prospects and major customers.
- Proven knowledge of organizational mission and roles.
- Knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling fire & gas and life safety systems products and services. This includes marketing strategy and tactics, product demonstration, sales techniques, and sales activity and target monitoring and control systems/processes.
- Knowledge of the structure and content of the English language Knowledge of business and Management
- Knowledge of Fire & Safety Industry media production, communication, and dissemination techniques
