Job description / Role
• Collaborate with CAD Leadership team on the Data Governance Goals and Compliance requirements.
• Advise Data Governance Council on DG roadmap to identify and understand data source and data lifecycle.
Requirements
• Define Business Glossary templates to standardize data elements to enable reusability of Governed assets.
• Design data policies with CAD leadership, data stewardship and data controllers.
• Liaison Data Governance team with other stakeholders of data applications
• Recommend Industry best practices on Data Governance including Data Privacy, Security Standards
• Guide CAD team in Implement and Configure Application to support use cases and projects
• Work with CAD leadership team on training & onboarding of Data Stewards and engage during Data Stewardship Council meetings
• Advise on best practices on business needs, data usage requirements, and validation metrics from Data Governance perspective.
• Provide inputs and feedback to Collibra team on DGC assets to support use cases and projects
• Collaborate with Collibra team on assets, assignment rules and relations to accommodate changes in source systems and new business user requirements.
• Work with Data Stewardship Council on data models including assets, relationships, domains, and communities.
• Conduct Data Quality Assessments for Critical Data Elements
• Schedule and oversee recurring reporting processes to support data quality improvement activities
• Assist with data analysis on potential source systems including data profiling as required.
• Document and support uploads of key assets to relevant domains.
• Experience over Data Warehouse and Big Data Development Platforms are desirable.
