Based in the Middle East, this Air Cargo Company is part of a National Carrier operating passenger and wide-body freighter networks and is rapidly transforming its international business to support growth across Europe, Asia, the Middle East and Africa.

The role of Director - Flight Operations Support is responsible for the critical management of the 24/7 Cargo Flight Operation Control Centre (COCC), which oversees all freighter flight movements, network planning, scheduling, crewing, load reporting, slot and traffic rights management, contingency management, operational control of the charter flight applications and will require an in-depth knowledge of wide-body air operations.

This high profile International Executive role offers an excellent salary package that includes a party tax-free base salary, housing, transport, education allowances if required, family health cover and variable bonus.

Requirements

• Must be someone with 10 years+ Flight Operations management experience across all operational areas – preferably someone who has worked for an airline cargo operator with passenger and freight aircraft types.
• Have demonstrated experience in senior leadership of aircraft flight operational services to cargo operations worldwide. Services including: flight operations, crewing, planning, air slot management, traffic rights, reporting of flight operations for KPI measurements, ULD equipment management, wet-lease/ACMI management, passenger aircraft contract management, air network planning (and air network design), aircraft scheduling/routing, aircraft evaluation and aircraft maintenance management.
• Experience in leading and developing continuous improvement and increased organizational efficiency within a similar role in the airline industry.
• Excellent communications skills and well-developed people management skills; ability to lead and inspire teams to accomplish objectives.
• Internationally orientated executive with excellent business acumen and is a savvy negotiator.
