Job Purpose

We are seeking a technical training programs evaluator to join the Drilling & Workover (D&WO) Training Division of Drilling & Workover. The D&WO Training Division is responsible for providing development programs and training solutions for D&WO employees. The Drilling Engineer primary role is to perform technical advisory and evaluation role to D&WO technical training programs and their participants.

Responsibilities
- Determine submission deadline, and schedule Technical Evaluation Interviews and Tests.
- Schedule orientations for training programs participants. Prepare emails, handouts, presentation materials, etc. Conduct orientations.
- Prepare training program's participants evaluation summary worksheets.
- Conduct progress checks, and answer any questions raised by trainees about the assignment. Perform follow-up checks, if necessary.
- Review and score evaluation related reports submitted by trainees
- Check International Petroleum Industry Multimedia System (IPIMS), technical eLearning platform, and obtain trainees' training completion results.
- Check Mentor Evaluation Reports submitted and obtain their scores.
- Review and score Drilling Programs and End-Of-Well Activity Reports.
- Confirm time and location for Technical Evaluation Interviews and Tests.
- Conduct interviews and tests.
- Finalize evaluation results, and provide them to trainees' advisors
- Conduct routine review/update of orientation slides, task manuals, requirements, etc.
- Review, update and add Drilling and Workover Engineering Test questions regularly and as necessary.
- Perform technical reviews

Requirements

Education & Experience Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering from a recognized and approved program. An advanced degree is preferred.
- Minimum fifteen years of experience in performing drilling & workover engineering/operational related duties and responsibilities, including at least three years mentoring fresh graduates drilling engineers.
- You should have valid IADC/IWCF Well Control Certificate
- You must have offshore and onshore rigs experience
- You will be able to demonstrate coaching and mentoring activities
- English fluency is a requirement
- Awareness of Microsoft is also necessary
- SPE membership & Certification is preferred
