EHS Officer

Job description / Role

• Identifying and inspecting hazards and defining corrective measures for their elimination
• Conducting plant safety walkdowns; monitoring elimination of deficiencies
• Performance of office duties such as maintenance of records and filling of documents and processing and typing of documents
• Support the creation of the safety plan including the interface to the customer
• Support of preparation of safety statements and reports

Requirements

• Personal computer and general office software
• Follows the applicable safety rules, regulations and Procedures
• Wears the required protective equipment in case entering the clearance gauge or designated workshop areas.
• Is in good physical condition
• Shall be 21 years or above
• Meets the requirements of fitness class 3
• Has a bachelor’s degree in a technical field or business administration and one to two years of work experience
• Has a good command of both the spoken and written English language
• Has good computer skills
• Firefighting, fire prevention, first aid
• Safety rules and regulations
• CMMS
