Overview

We are seeking a process Engineer to join Khurais Producing Engineering Division (KhPED)

under the Khurais Producing Department (KhPD)

The organization handles oil gas and utilities processing facilities at KhPD CPF satellite GOSP and CAPD

Key Responsibilities
- Provide operational support for gas oil separation process, TEG dehydration, dehydrators, desalters, gas treatment, utilities, Cogen etc.
- Undertake process design work and design packages
- Execute process engineering activities within the budget and schedule, as well as maintaining technical integrity of the designs
- Support troubleshooting, optimization activities in the facility.
- Update Equipment specifications, Process Descriptions and P&IDs etc
- Able to support energy, environment, flare minimization and safety requirements of the facility
- Perform safety related calculations and provide input to HAZOPs, SIL and other safety reviews as directed.

Requirements

As a successful candidate, candidate should have Bachelor degree in Chemical Engineering.
- Must have min 10 years' experience, preferably in the oil, gas, or similar process industry.
- Chartered Chemical Engineer status (desirable)
- Experience of working as operation engineer with through knowledge in process design and EPC projects for onshore oil and gas projects
- Proven core Process Engineering skills, including design experience
- Skilled in resolution of technical process design issues
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and good organizational awareness
- Ability to respond to customer needs immediately to meet production demands
- Display analytical and innovation skills to manage new technology and processes.

The incumbent must have specialists Knowledge in the following:
- Gas Oil separation
- Dehydrator/ Desalter trains
- Gas treatment
- TEG dehydration and dew point control
- Crude stabilization, storage and transportation
- NGL recovery
- Propane/Ethane refrigeration systems
- Compressons, pumps, gas turbines etc
- Water treatment plants
- RO, Cogeneration facilities, Steam system, instrument, plant air, nitrogen etc
- Flare systems
