Executive Chef, Production - In-Flight Catering - Service Provider – Saudi Arabia (Riyadh/Jeddah)

Our client is a market leader in delivering first class Catering Services across multiple industries, specialising in in-flight catering for the aviation sector. They are currently seeking Executive Chefs to join their team in Saudi Arabia for positions in both Jeddah and Riyadh.

The Executive Chef will plan, organize, direct and control the production activities and staff within the area of responsibilities in order to achieve the Company set goals and objectives.

Roles and Responsibilities:
• Responsible for the Airline Catering, Company Restaurants, outside party service production and supports Staff services whenever required.
• Achieves agreed objectives of the Department through optimum use of manpower, facilities, equipment and other resources.
• Monitor raw and cooked products in accordance with customers demand for food presentations, suggestions and developments etc.
• Monitors and verifies/update recipes, Catering Product Specifications.
• Plans, organizes, forecast, establishes and execute schedules, programs and procedures to meet customers and in-house demand at all times.
• Prepares and submit reports as per established schedules/procedures and constantly report progress of the assigned sections.
• Evaluates and establishes specifications for all raw materials/yield study and ensures that they are being utilized according to established procedure and intended purposes.
• Attends the daily and monthly Production meetings and maintains open lines of communication with Management group.
• Coordinate with Purchasing and Stores for raw materials forecast.
• Assists in the Department Annual Budget and Monthly Forecast based on realistic assumptions and follow up on results.
• Organizes training programs and refresher courses as and when needed to maintain the professionalism and high standards.

Requirements:
• Diploma/Degree in Hospitality Management / Culinary Science
• Proven working experience in In-flight Catering
• Advanced knowledge of food profession principles and practices.
• Proficient knowledge of human resources management.
• Excellent knowledge of BOH systems, ordering and inventory.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines.
• Excellent record of kitchen management and capability of delegating multiple tasks
• Excellent communication skills
