We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Facilities Manager to join our team. As the Facilities Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all fit-out projects, ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards. You will play a critical role in coordinating with various stakeholders, including architects, designers, contractors and suppliers, to ensure successful project execution.

The ideal candidate for this role has a strong background in fit-out management, with a proven track record of delivering complex projects within the commercial or residential sector. You should have excellent communication and leadership skills, as well as a keen eye for detail and a passion for delivering exceptional results.

Main Responsibilities

• Providing daily coordination and ensuring they adhere to established procedures and best practices whilst they carry out the retail project as a point of contact for contractors and retailers.
• Identifying and resolving any issues before they escalate, minimising delays and disruptions to mall operations, proactive approach will be key.
• You'll develop a comprehensive fit-out program schedule, ensuring all fit-outs stay on track.
• Responsible for reviewing and approving Risk Assessments & Method Statements, verifying that contractor safety protocols and work methods align with project requirements.
• Ensuring a safe work environment for everyone, by issuing Permits to Work only after confirming all safety measures are in place.
• Developing and maintaining project budgets, ensuring adherence to financial constraints.
• Coordinating with architects, designers, contractors and suppliers to ensure project requirements are met.
• Providing project updates and progress reports to senior management.
• Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and industry standards.
• Managing and resolving any issues or conflicts that may arise during the project lifecycle.
• Conducting regular site visits and inspections to monitor progress and quality of work.
• Collaborating with internal teams to ensure seamless project delivery and client satisfaction.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have the following knowledge, experience and skills:

• Project Management experience preferably in the UAE, as an on-site engineer, with the practical aspects of construction and project execution.
• Relevant experience in mall fit-out or a related field.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
• Fit-out experience.
• In-depth knowledge of health and safety management.
• Showcase a solid technical background in construction methods.
• Capable of establishing a good relationship with clients, customers and service providers.
• Excellent communication skills both written and oral.
