Job description / Role

Experienced Farm Managers required for leading dairy and fresh produce organisation in Saudi Arabia.

This is an opportunity for a Farm Manger to join a global leader in the production of both fresh produce and dairy products. The organization is going through major growth and the quality of harvest will play a crucial role in the future success of the business.

Reporting the Agricultural Director you will be responsible for ensuring that the highest standards of crop agronomy are practiced in the division with a view of maximizing crop yields at optimum costs. You will also monitor crop performance and provide recommendations on new farming techniques.

Requirements

This opportunity is located on a large farm in Saudi Arabia and therefore a good level of physical fitness is required for this position. You may also be exposed to high weather temperatures and humidity so please consider this before applying.

Areas of responsibility include but are not limited to:
- Management of onsite labour
- Set the Planting schedule according customer demand
- Implement and Maintain Food Safety Standards including Good Agricultural Practices
- Coordinate with Production to understand volumes, deliveries and packing conditions.

Knowledge and Skills required to be considered:
- Tertiary qualifies in Agriculture or similar.
- In depth knowledge of managing a Farming Systems.
- Strong understanding of Good Agricultural Practices (GAP), Yield analysis, planting programs.
- HACCP/ISO experience preferred.
- Computer literate, MS, WORD,POWERPOINT,EXCEL
