Finance Manager - Logistics

Job description / Role

A very exciting opportunity has arisen in a start-up Logistics company in Riyadh. This company is a JV formed with 2 industry experts. We are searching for an experienced Finance Manager who will be with the company from its inception and shall see it through quick growth.

Due to the urgency of the role, we are only shortlisting candidates who can join at Short Notice (ideally immediately)

Candidates should already be living in Saudi Arabia due to the Covid-related border restrictions.

Responsibilities

• Report to the CFO, assisting in the selection and implementation of an ERP system
• Set up the Chart of Accounts from scratch
• Responsible for P&L
• Hiring of brand new finance team (up to 9 people based in the GCC) doing AR, AP, Credit Control
• Implementation of Fixed Asset register
• Prepare initial budget, forecasts and business plans
• Provide relevant analysis and feedback to enable finalization of the budgets
• Monitor the cash flow to ensure adequate liquidity and timely collections from sales.
• Monitor foreign exchange
• Oversee regional taxes / VAT
• Oversee inventories and accounts receivable
• Prepare daily reports and data to top management about daily cashflow and daily takings.
• Prepare a three month rolling cash projection
• Prepare MIS and Dashboard reports
• Analyse, research and report on factors affecting/ influencing business performance.
• Handle year-end auditors

Salary:
SAR 25,000 to 30,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.

Requirements

• Qualified accountant (ideally who has trained in the Big 4 firms)
• Available to join at short notice
• Must be currently based in Saudi Arabia
• Logistics industry experience is highly preferable, retail will also be considered
• Experience of overseeing, hiring, training a finance team
• Exceptional interpersonal skills
• Commercially minded, all-rounder, strong in accounting
• Up to date with IFRS
