Gardener

Job description / Role

We are looking for a passionate Gardener to join our team at Banyan Tree. Your responsibilities include and are not limited to:

- Use of gardening tools and equipment in a safe manner
- Maintain and clean gardens around the resort
- Alteration and construction of approved gardens
- Maintain irrigation equipment within the resort
- Maintain clean, neat and tidy personal presentation
- Maintain proper, clean and safe conditions in work areas and vehicles
- Practice the kinetic lifting methods when moving all heavy items
- Be familiar with technical details of the resort's plant and services
- Assist guests, residents and fellow staff members in a courteous and professional manner
- To uphold a professional image for the Resort at all times whilst undertaking daily duties
- To develop professional customer relationships and ongoing provision of excellence in customer service (internal and external)

Requirements

Your experience and skills include:

- Minimum of 2 years' experience in similar role in the industry
- Good command of English Language
- Good knowledge in Microsoft Office & Opera

Your team and working environment: Banyan Tree will operate and expand the Ashar luxury camp, embracing the region's Arabian heritage to blend in seamlessly with the Ashar Valley's striking natural scenery and stand in the heart of AlUla's planned "living museum" experience. Situated near AlUla's signature mirrored Maraya Concert Venue, the camp recently hosted guests of the annual Winter At Tantora cultural festival, elevating visitors' experiences by connecting them with AlUla'snature, art, and ancestry.
