We are now very excited to announce the first of role to be hired under this program and it will be for a Graduate who will perform in the capacity of a Buyer which is a role primarily focused on Procurement.

Overall Purpose of the Role:
This position engages with the Project Pursuits, Project Proposals and Operations Teams to develop and manage procurement strategies for 3rd party goods and services for our Systems & Solutions PlantWeb offerings. The Procurement Buyer will serve as a point of contact for the Proposal, Strategic Sourcing Specialists, Proposal and Strategic Sourcing Manager, Sales, Project Managers, operations, the execution centers and suppliers for issues related to strategic proposals and purchases within the region.

Role & Responsibilities:
* To lead the competitive exercise in compliance with 3rd party goods and services standards
* To manage and expedite internal Purchase Order approval per Delegation of Authority
* To maintain Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system data to ensure accuracy during the entire Procure-to-Pay cycle
* To identify appropriate commercial obligations, contract templates and all requirements and technical specifications for delivery
* To identify execution risks and escalate as and when required
* To negotiate and record all cost saving measures
* To inform the local office regarding the status of shipment orders
* To arrange the receiving and inspection of goods when required
* To support overall supplier evaluation in terms of overall procurement performance
* To perform regulations and compliance analysis
* To always ensure compliance to Emerson Record Retention policy
* To participate in Category Management support
* To participate in bid and market analysis (review Project Management Office comparison sheet)
* To develop preliminary pricing detail
* To proactively resolve all procurement related issues in a timely manner
* Potentially impact company's overall 3rd party goods and services operations
* To always ensure compliance to Emerson's Ethics Policy
* To ensure 100% compliance to purchasing processes, defined standards and procedures
* To proactively engage in communicating with internal customers and suppliers
* To communication and respond to internal customers and suppliers in a timely manner
* To maintain competitiveness in our sourcing processes relative to fiduciary responsibility
* To accurately maintain the ERP system
* On-time delivery of goods and services

Requirements

* To Be Considered for this role you must be a Saudi National currently based in Saudi Arabia
* You should possess a Bachelor's Degree or Technical Diploma from a Saudi based Educational Institute
* You should have no previous work experience where you have been registered on the GOSI System
* You Should be willing to be located in either the Al Khobar/ Dammam areas
* You should have a positive attitude with a great work ethic and be prepared to undertake a variety of work related tasks
