Position Summary:
Working as part of a multi-disciplinary team in the Engineering Department, a Graphic Designer will play a crucial role in getting visually engaging
materials and graphics created by the design consultants to support various aspects of the road project, including signage, promotional materials,
presentations, and digital content. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for design, strong creative skills, and the ability to effectively
communicate complex information through visual elements. Support the Design Project Manager in managing and delivering the graphic design
in accordance with the Programme and the requirements of the client. Coordinate and monitor the development of the design consultant’s
planned activities and provide progress reports to Design Project Management, highlighting performance to plan. A key part of this role is the
collaboration with the design consultant and the client. The Graphic Designer shall establish regular meetings with the design consultant, various client sectors, and external stakeholders as required for managing, coordinating, and assuring the graphic design.

Major Responsibilities:
• Management of design activities and coordination of workloads for Road design.
• Management of visually appealing graphics and signage for road project initiatives, including directional signs, safety signs, and informational displays.
• Collaborate with project stakeholders to understand requirements and translate concepts into compelling visual designs.
• Create digital graphics and illustrations for project presentations, reports, and online platforms.
• Ensure all designs align with project branding guidelines and adhere to regulatory standards for road signage and safety.
• Work closely with the project team, consultant and stakeholders and get the design updated based on their feedback.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in graphic design, particularly as they relate to road infrastructure projects.
• Assist with the production and printing process, ensuring high-quality output of all graphic materials.
• Maintain organized files and documentation for all design assets produced for the project.
• Coordinate and visit the jobsite as required, to resolve problems, interpret drawings and documents and provide technical support during the construction phase.

Requirements

Skills and Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, Visual Communications, or related field with minimum 15 years of experience.
• Proven experience as a graphic designer, preferably in a related field such as transportation or infrastructure.
• Proficiency in graphic design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
• Strong portfolio showcasing a range of design projects, with an emphasis on print and digital media.
• Excellent communication skills (oral & written) and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality, accurate work.
• Understanding of typography, color theory, and layout principles.
• Familiarity with regulations and standards related to road signage and safety is a plus.
• A professional license from a recognized licensing or registration board is preferred.
