Job description / Role
Charterhouse is working with a visionary client, who is looking to hire a Head Chef – Pastry to continually and consistently develop and execute the highest standard of pastry creations from this dream kitchen. This new concept will be the iconic patisserie and cafe in Riyadh, an elevated concept offering the best of the best cakes that your imagination can come up with.
Your main responsibilities will be to execute the vision of the brand and development chef as well as each and every customer imaginative creation. The main focus will be on cakes both bespoke and from the ever-evolving catalogue of signature cakes and cupcakes.
You will lead the team to ensure the highest level of product is delivered at all times. In addition, you will also oversee food costing and inventory.
Requirements
To be considered for this role, the candidate should be an experienced Head Chef – Pastry having led a team, with a comprehensive portfolio. Experience with variety of cakes such as naked, marble and ombre is essential. Experience in smash cakes will be an added advantage.
The ideal candidate has strong experience across all cakes and desserts. This role requires a high-level pastry chef who is looking to showcase their skills through this bound to be renowned brand with long term vision to grow and develop the brand.
