My client, a public sector organization is currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Head Economist to join their team.

Description

* Lead the development and evaluation of economic policies to support the public sector's objectives.
* Conduct thorough economic impact assessments to inform decision-making processes.
* Drive the formulation and execution of long-term economic strategies that align with organizational goals.
* Provide foresight on potential economic challenges and opportunities, offering proactive solutions.
* Collaborate with finance departments to provide economic insights for budget development.
* Assess the financial impact of proposed policies and initiatives on public resources.

Requirements

* +10 Years of experience required
* Advanced degree in Economics, Public Policy, or related field. PhD preferred.
* Proven experience in a leadership role within economic analysis, preferably in the public sector.
* Strong analytical skills with expertise in economic modeling and statistical analysis.
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex economic concepts to diverse audiences.
