Job Title: Head Nurse
Department: Nursing Department
Job Summary
Has authority and accountability for the administrative and nursing management of a designated clinical unit. Ensures the provision of optimal standards of patient care delivery on that unit.
Prepares work schedules that ensure adequate staff coverage. Ensures cost effectiveness of the unit's operational budget and makes recommendations for purchase of supplies and equipment. Attends committee meetings as required. Organizes and participates in educational programs. Ensure an appropriate orientation and competency assessment for new employees.

Requirements
Requirements
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing or 3 years Diploma in Nursing
• Valid license in the country of origin
• With minimum of seven (7) years current experience as RN
• Further two (2) years experience as Nurse Manager in the assigned Unit
