Head of Business Support (Procurement / Supply Chain)

Job description / Role

Major Civil Engineering Construction Contractor located in Saudi Arabia requires a Head of Business Support (Procurement & Supply Chain). Duties will include:
• To develop procurement and contracting strategies together with the Supply Chain professions and in support of the Business Units to extract the greatest value from the local and international supply market to deliver greatest value and performance to company.
• To support and deliver business process improvements to the Supply Chain organization by managing and improving the internal processes and procedures; investigating and implementing best technical solutions; delivering training solutions to enhance individual and company performance.
• Ensure company develops a supplier base which is sufficient to support company objectives and which delivers best value and quality to company.
• Provide Supply Chain reports to manage internal SC performance and report out to the Business Units.
• Manage Supply Chain records, which will include; Organizational charts, budget management, general document control.
• Manage the Material Expediting and reporting section

Salary:
SAR 50,000 to 65,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.

Requirements

Candidates should have a Degree and come from a Construction / Oil & Gas background, with proven experience in developing Procurement & Supply Chain strategies within newly created or changed environments.
