About the Role
Our client, a well-established luxury residential and commercial interior design company, aims to streamline its operations, enhance revenue, and bolster client satisfaction for the year 2024 and beyond.

This role will be responsible for managing multiple projects, and will take care of all custom and procured FF&E aspects for each project from design to sourcing, specifying to the design, budgeting, ordering and on-time-delivery of FF&E items.

The suitable candidate must be a creative and talented designer with strong design flair and passion for interior finishing, fabrics and materials, artwork, furniture and lighting. Additionally, to be able to manage administrative tasks related to FFE during the Design Development stage. A minimum of 7-10 years’ experience working on luxury high-end residential projects is required.

Roles & Responsibilities:
• Specifications and Standards Compliance: Work with the design team, clients, and stakeholders to ensure FF&E specifications align with project requirements and uphold the highest quality standards.
• Procurement Collaboration: In close partnership with the Procurement team, convey project-specific FF&E needs and adhere to timelines, aligning procurement activities with the FF&E project schedule.
• Procurement Milestone Coordination: monitor procurement progress for FF&E items and maintain active communication with the Procurement Department highlight on weekly meeting with management and team any impact on project timelines.
• Quality Assurance Inspections: Perform thorough inspections of furniture and other FF&E items to guarantee quality before client handover, and arrange client visits to factories for a personalised experience when necessary, following the budget.
• Risk Management: Establish a risk management plan at each project's commencement, identifying potential challenges with corresponding mitigation strategies, obtaining senior management approval.
• Client Satisfaction: Direct and monitor FF&E relation to ensure clients’ satisfaction and that the project consistently reflects their vision and expectations.
• Quality Control Implementation: Enforce rigorous control measuresand guidelines to ensure successful delivery of FF&E projects.
• Marketing Coordination for Project Photography: Coordinate with the Marketing Department to schedule professional photography of completed projects, ensuring the project is captured in its best form for promotional purposes.
• Photography Preparation and Styling.
• Manage any client-supplied FF&E items by coordinating with the business development team to ensure proper integration into the design.
• Direct the final staging of all FF&E items, including accessories and curtains, and work with the project manager to ensure that the site is fully prepared and styled for photography.
• Drawing and Documentation Tracking: Create and maintain tracking sheets for all project drawings and documentation, ensuring they are updated weekly and accurately reflect the project's current status.
• Help develop and execute the FF&E direction for overall project and communicate to the project team.
• Designing and sourcing FF&E from concept through to finished details
• Liaising with contractors and suppliers in order to ensure FF&E is delivered on time and on budget
• Working on project ‘fit-outs’ and overseeing the installation of FF&E alongside contractors.
• Ability to establish logical action plans to complete work and provide technically sound solutions within deadline and budget constraints
• Work with design team to determine all FF&E requirements
• Prepare Selection of all FF&E and Artwork items for the project working with the design team through every stage of the design process
• Develop design concepts of all FFE for presentations and prepare presentations in powerpoint or hardcopy
• Prepare with the project team documentation for tenders and sourcing of all FFE items for a project
• Prepare mood boards of FFE and Artwork intent for a project together with materials samples etc.
• Coordinate and source with suppliers to research FFE items for a project
• Work closely with the design librarian developing and creating a database of all FFE design items from projects
• Report to Design Director to obtain approvals of all selections
• Manage the entry of Furniture Fixtures and Equipment (FF&E) specifications from the interior design specification book to project installation and reconciliation.
• Assure accuracy between interior design specifications and entry into the system.
• During the pricing process, assist in resolving any issues and/or provide clarification by working with the internal departments, interior designer, supplier and customer.

Salary:
SAR 15,000 to 30,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.

Knowledge , Skills and Abilities
• Ability to function well under heavy workload with multiple priorities.
• Working knowledge of software systems, MS Excel, Access, Outlook, and MS Word as well as Special Material Specification Software such as Specsource and Programma.
• Must have solid time management and prioritization skills.
• Must have sound analytical skills.
• Must have solid customer service and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing (in English).
• Ability to communicate effectively with management, co-workers and external parties.
• Performing other related duties as assigned. Due to the cyclical nature of the hospitality industry, employees must be flexible, and may be required to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs to the office.

• Team player.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree is required
• 7-10 minimum years of experience in the in interior design industry
