Head of IT

Job description / Role

This opportunity is with a Large Manufacturing Company in Jeddah, KSA.

As the Head of IT, you would be responsible for overseeing all the IT operations including staff and infrastructure. You would provide leadership and governance of the IT strategy and architecture, ensuring alignment with corporate strategy and industry standards. You will manage departmental finances, including budgeting, forecasting, and reports. You would evaluate, design and implement SAP software programs for the organization. Identify and allocate overall responsibilities for the successful roll-out of the projects. You would oversee and determine time frames for major IT projects including system updates, upgrades, migrations and outages.

You would establish and maintain value-based stakeholder and strategic supplier relationships which meet business requirements. You would manage the effective achievement of the IT department objectives through setting individual objectives, managing performance, developing staff and providing formal and informal feedback in order to maximize overall performance and team motivation. You would be responsible for overseeing that the IT security strategy is in line with the internal policies and government regulations.

Requirements

To be successful, you will possess at least 8 years of experience in an IT environment, of which 5 years are in a managerial position. You must have a Bachelor’s degree in IT or any related field. SAP implementation experience is a must.
