Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

This role would enable the holder to implement a new Health Information System, whilst also managing the IT departments with a minimum of 5 direct reportees.

This organisation is a leading dental and dermatology service provider in Saudi Arabia with over 3000+ employees and 60+ centers in KSA


* Approves, co-ordinates and controls all projects related to selection, acquisition, development and installation of major Health Information Systems.
* Provides strategic and tactical planning, development, evaluation, and coordination of the information technology systems
* Develops and monitors the approved annual operating and capital budgets for the information and technology systems.
* Evaluates alternatives and performs proper cost benefit analysis to recommend appropriate solutions
* Oversees the back office computer operations of the management information system, including local area networks and wide-area networks
* Ensures the security of the information systems, communication lines, and equipment.
* Oversees and evaluates system security and back-up procedures
* Interacts with company managers on internal and external operations that are impacted by the capture, storage, processing and dissemination of information
* Establishes company infrastructure to support and guide individual divisions/departments/sites in computing and information technology efforts.
* Recommends changes to software applications based on analysis relating to their impact on all users' requirements
* Communicates IT plans, policies, and technology trends throughout the organization, including management groups and professional staff

* Computer Science / Engineering degree
* 6+ years of related experience with a minimum of 2 years in a leadership position
* Experience working within Healthcare / Medical organisation highly advantageous
* Fluent in Both Arabic and English
* Effective Management and Leadership Skills
* Excellent Project Management Skills
* Planning & Organizing Skills
* Strong Analytical & Problem Solving Skills
