Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

We are looking for a proactive and experienced Health and Safety Manager to join our team in Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing health and safety procedures to ensure a safe and compliant work environment. The Health and Safety Manager will play a key role in promoting a culture of safety and minimizing the risk of accidents and injuries within the organization.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement health and safety policies and procedures in compliance with local regulations and industry best practices.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits of the workplace to identify potential hazards and ensure corrective actions are taken.
- Provide health and safety training to employees at all levels, and promote awareness through effective communication and engagement.
- Investigate and report on accidents, near-misses, and other incidents to identify root causes and prevent recurrence.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that health and safety considerations are integrated into all aspects of the business operations.
- Stay updated on changes in health and safety legislation and advise management on necessary actions to maintain compliance.
- Manage the Health and Safety team and oversee their day-to-day activities, including performance management and professional development.

Salary:
SAR 7,000 to 8,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or related field. Master's degree or professional certification is a plus.
- Proven experience in a similar role, with a deep understanding of health and safety regulations and standards in Saudi Arabia.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Experience in conducting risk assessments, incident investigations, and implementing corrective/preventive actions.
- Ability to develop and deliver effective health and safety training programs to diverse employee groups.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluency in Arabic and English languages is preferred.
- Familiarity with FMS (Facility Management Services) industry is a plus.
