Our client work in the field of Heavy lifting, Transportation and Heavy Equipment Services. They are currently looking to recruit an HR Manager to be based in Khobar

Duties & Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy and bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands and grievances
• Develop and monitor overall HR strategies, systems and procedures, and drive related automation via HRIS & Payroll unit
• Enhances the company human resources by planning, implementing, and evaluating employee relations and human resources regulations, policies, programs, and practices
• Oversee Talent Management unit and performance appraisal cycle that drives high and positive work environment and performance that supports the company current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation and preservation of human capital
• Ensures planning, monitoring, and appraisal of employee work results by training managers to coach and discipline employees; scheduling management conferences with employees; hearing and resolving employee grievances; and counseling employees and supervisors
• Develop and implement an employee induction program, evaluate employee relations and serve as an advisor for resolution of disputes.
• Gather and report reasons for resignations, discuss with upper management, re-strategize and mandate core Human Resources functions – to ensure competitive candidates, compensation structure and work environment
• Assess training needs, based on training needs analysis and performance appraisal outcome, to apply and monitor training programs
• Supports the company talent acquisition by establishing a recruiting, testing, and interviewing programs; counseling managers on candidate selection; conducting and analyzing exit interviews; and recommending changes.
• Maintains the work structure by making sure job requirements and job descriptions for all positions are up-to-date
• Review and approve changes insurance coverage, salary deductions, and job titles, and department/ division transfers
• Maintains payroll information integrity by designing systems; directing employees' time sheets collections, calculation, and entering of data
• Direct payroll processing and ensure that payroll amounts are kept confidential
• Review Payroll report(s) and resolve any discrepancies
• Ensures legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable human resource legal and governmental requirements, conducting investigations, maintaining records, and represent the company at labor office when and where requested
• Enforces management guidelines by preparing, updating, and recommending human resource policies and procedures
• Retains historical human resource records by designing a filing and retrieval system and keeping past and current records
• Completes human resource operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees and following up on work results
• Oversee and approve leave management, separation – resignation or termination and final settlements
• Leads, directs, evaluates and develops the HR team to ensure that the objectives are reached
• Is responsible for the development, performance appraisal and succession planning of all direct and indirect reports
• Promotes a highly effective management and leadership style in line with the company values that supports the achievement of its strategy and objectives
• Identifies potential successor for his/her position; oversees and implements developmental plans for identified successors
• Identifies and monitors key HR functional KPIs, and devises plans and initiatives for improvement
• Performs miscellaneous tasks as assigned by his/her direct manager

Requirements

Qualifications & Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration; an MBA is a plus
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in HR management
• Professional HR certification &/or Project Management in relevant areas is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of the equipment and rental industry with solid planning, execution, and implementation skills
• Strong knowledge of HRD principles, management, theories, processes, and of employment contract administration and Saudi labor law
• Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and communications skills, and a proven ability to motivate and manage teams
• Computer literacy, including knowledge of MS office applications and basic software applications. ERP knowledge is a plus
• Saudi Nationals preferred
• Arabic language is a must
