HSE Supervisor

Job description / Role

Kentz, a member of the SNC-Lavalin Group, are currently looking for a HSE Supervisor for a project in Saudi Arabia.

Responsibilities:
- Organize and assign work to trade foreman and charge hands.
- Plan and co-ordinate work with other supervisors, contractors and subcontractors on daily basis to minimize work interferences.
- Instruct personnel in good housekeeping and safety practices.
- Maintain work rules and work force discipline.
- Monitor and control progress of construction work within the schedule for the assigned area.
- Maintain a properly detailed and accurate diary of the construction work accomplished.
- Organize and direct the work force to accomplish construction in an efficient, effective and safe manner.
- Observe the subcontractor’s operations and record daily accomplishments, problems, and manpower and equipment usage.
- Take remedial action on shortcomings in coordination with the responsible manager.
- Discuss and assess problems encountered by the staff on site.
- Ensure that methods of work are up to date, efficient and in accordance with company and client HSE policies and requirements.
- Establish and maintain good relationships with clients set and example of loyalty, enthusiasm and hard work in the performance of all duties.

Requirements

- Diploma with a recognized Technical Qualification from the country of origin.
- 5 Years' experience from trades.
- People management skills.
- Negotiating skills.
- Decision making skills.
