HVAC Engineer

Job description / Role

Organizing all HVAC, chillers, boilers, compressed air and air-conditioning networks, piping, steam networks, dehumidification systems schedules and assignments.

- Monitoring and testing HVAC systems for plants and laps (i.e. laminar flow hoods, sampling booths, etc
- Ensuring that all equipment systems are installed according to set specifications and in compliance with quality, safety and energy management standards.
- Checking plants ventilation and humidity control systems periodically and scheduling any necessary maintenance.
- Following up on all maintenance activities (corrective and preventive).
- Coordinating with purchasing on ordering spare parts from suppliers, vendors.
- Participating in the development of the engineering function's work plan; distributing and following up on work activities, projects and programs, monitoring work flow and reviewing work methods and procedures.
- Suggesting plans and programs to enhance effectiveness of HVAC maintenance system
- Performing other duties related to the job as assigned by the direct supervisor.
- Approve all HVAC tests for plants.
- Very good knowledge in (BMS/ EMS) works
- Opening change control according to validation department requirements and following up.
- Preparing periodic reports with respect to the utility function's activities and achievements to be submitted to the direct supervisor.
- Documentation of operating standards.

Requirements

Required Experience:

- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering.
- 5 to 10 years of experience in HVAC system in Pharmaceutical field required for Solid dosage and injectable plants
- Understanding of the regulatory guidelines and latest requirements.
- High follow up and coordination.
- Excellent Arabic and English language.
- Excellent computer skills.
- Good project management and problem-solving skills
