Specific accountabilities:

1. HSE Management
- Demonstrate behaviour and practices consistent with personal, co-worker and community duty of care obligations.
- Work with field inspection personnel (and where applicable their employers) and suppliers to ensure that field inspection and test activities are undertaken in conformance with applicable WorleyParsons, regulatory and contractual HSE obligations.

2. Supply Quality Management

Work with the Location/Project Quality Manager and project and procurement teams to ensure:
- Procurement Management Systems are implemented in compliance with the requirements of the WorleyParsons Enterprise Management System (EMS) consistent with specific location, regulatory and contractual requirements.
- Inspection personnel possess prerequisite technical competencies for the scope of supply they are assigned to verify and are suitably trained to access and apply the applicable aspects of EMS.
- Effectiveness of quality planning to ensure that supplier process controls and prerequisite product and service verification and inspection arrangements are established for each scope of supply consistent with criticality, statutory and contractual obligations.
- Effective implementation and coordination of supplier assessment, prequalification and selection processes.
- Adequacy of technical review of supplier data submissions typically including; quality plans, process and personnel qualifications and manufacturing records and certification.
- Competent execution and documentation of inspection and test activities as specified in approved inspection and test plans.
- Effective implementation of supplier technical query, design change control, non-conformance, corrective action, and inspection release management processes.
- Analysis and reporting of supplier performance for input into supplier re-qualification and management review processes.

3. Capability Enhancement -
- Contribute to the development of supplier quality strategies and objectives aligned to WorleyParsons Mission and Differentiators.
- Support the global quality learning community initiative to enable quality professionals to communicate with each other and receive updates on latest developments.
- Determine areas of potential improvement in supplier quality management processes and in consultation with the Location/Project Quality Manager facilitate the implementation of improvements to address these areas. - Assist in maintaining the global inspection skills/resource database through identification of resources within the location.

4. Customer Relationships
- Ensure that customer quality management requirements and concerns regarding supplier performance are being identified and managed effectively.

5. Resources
- In conjunction with the Location/Project Quality Manager, recruit and allocate sufficient appropriately qualified/competent inspection personnel to the location/project].

6. Performance Management

In conjunction with the Location/Project Quality Manager
- Provide supply quality management leadership and coaching for field inspection personnel.
- Implement competency based assessment and training and development programs for inspection personnel
- Supervise and mentor Inspector performance

Requirements

Essential skills/experience
- Relevant tertiary qualifications and typically 10 years relevant industry experience.
- Thorough understanding of the principles and practice of supplier inspection management and the implementation and improvement of supplier management systems.
- Team player with excellent leadership skills
- Communication skills - verbal, written - to report standard
- Strong coordination skills.
- Demonstrable capabilities in quality planning and resourcing for projects.
- Experience in managing a team of inspectors.
