Interior Designer

Job description / Role

Summary:
We are looking for an experienced interior designer with good technical skills. The main responsibilities include visualizing and drawing design plans according to the client's objectives, assisting in sourcing products, and materials, determining plans, and checking compliance with design specification.

Responsibilities:
- Undertake design project from concept to completion.
- Conceptualize and sketch design plans and project and set a timeline for the completion of an interior design project.
- Define project requirements and schedule during the “Brief.”
- Interpret and translate client needs into rough plans.
- Research and assist in sourcing materials and products included in plans.
- Conduct brainstorming, conceptualize and execute creative ideas.
- Interpret, design, and recommend architectural solutions through selections of finishes, materials, and fixtures alternatives.
- Develop -by spaces- whole interior designs consisting of, but not limited to, color scheme, ornaments, and accessories.
- Creating initial design sketches, color themes and ideas based on client requirements and space availability.
- Document all the plans and estimates.
- Produced “Sample” and “mood products.”
- Inspect design after completion to determine whether client goals are met.
- Utilize computer applications in the design process.
- Supervise work progress on site / location.
- Work closely with designers, decorators, architects, and constructors.
- Stay updated on the latest trends, materials, and technologies in the interior design industry to bring innovative ideas to the projects

Salary:
SAR 9,000 to 10,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
Additional benefits: Housing allowance, Transportation allowance, Medical Insurance, 30 calendar days paid annual vacation with return air ticket annually

Requirements

Requirements:
- Proven work experience as an Interior Designer, with a strong portfolio showcasing successful projects
- Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field; Master's degree is a plus
- 5-7 Year experience with minimum 3 years in Saudi classic private palaces/villas.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, 3D max, Photoshop, SketchUp or similar design software.
- Proven solid experience in interior designing (Portfolio of design works)
- Expert in layout, color, lighting, material selection, custom furniture, and all installation.
- Excellent knowledge of materials, finishes, and furnishings, as well as understanding of space planning
- Strong creative and artistic skills, with the ability to visualize and communicate design concepts effectively
- Good project management and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines
