Inventory Officer

Job description / Role

The key role will be performing inventory counts in store whilst identifying areas for continual improvement.
Inventory Assistants will be primarily responsible for physical inventory management operations:
- Setup of customers’ stores for inventory counts
- Scanning and counting of stock during customer’s periodic inventory counts
- Validate inbound/outbound deliveries at customer’s warehouses/stores/facilities
- Validate customer’s inventory master data
- Fulfilling unique customer inventory requirements

Requirements

- Knowledge of supply chain management, Process Improvement methodologies and related fields.
- Can use a scanner
- Understanding of Inventory process and related documentation
- Ability to accurately count stocks
- Ability to follow processes and procedure accurately.
- Physically fit and able to lift and move heavy packages and objects.
- A comprehensive understanding of safety procedures.
- Identifying process improvement to minimize or mitigate stock loss
- Excellent verbal and written English skills
- Strong problem solving skills.
- Meeting tight deadlines.
- Good team player
- Able to work night shifts
- Attention to detail
- Willing to work overtime at short notice
