Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Maintain availability of network and resources and minimize downtime.
- Monitor server in a daily basis and check for disk saturation and free space. Check all of the event logs and understand and seek remedy for any critical errors and information.
- Check all necessary services up and running.
- Check Email, Lync and related services are running
- Do back up daily basis as per the written backup schedule and log manually
- Check all network points and cables for continuity to ensure a break free operation

Ensure Antivirus/Microsoft updates installed in all systems
- Maintain ePolicy Orchestrator to automate antivirus defense.
- Check SCCM reports and remediate for compliance towards Microsoft updates.
- Download every new updates released on McAfee site on time
- Ensure new client OS image is distributed on time.
- Distribute the updates to all staff and make sure they are updating their machines. Do some spot checks to ensure.

Software releases distribution and compliance
- Download or receive new firm licensed software releases from the site or from technology division and ensure deployment in each and every machine.
- Do spot check in all machines for any pirated software or D&T not approved software and report to Partner for any abuse.

Network Connectivity
- Make sure network connectivity is available to all servers in the LAN and across VPN connectivity to Global

Coretime Tempus Pro
- TRS support for all users and full coordination with accountant and assistance.

Purchase & maintenance
- Make sure DTT agreement is used while purchasing computers.
- Keep good relation with vendors and observe the machines for any hardware problems and repair it under the service agreement
- Awareness of modern computer devices and prices

Initiative
- Take initiative to recurring problems as part of problem management
- Study and recommend improving day-to-day operations related to office automation.

Inventory
- Keep up to date inventory of all computers and network devices.
- Miscellaneous
- AS/2 archiving
- Internet research on request
- Maintenance of hardware and software (include format, configure etc.)

Visit other offices on call/requirement basis for any emergency support calls and for routine checkup.

Requirements

- Bachelor-level degree in engineering, information technology, data communications, telecommunications, computer science, or equivalent educational or professional experience and/or qualifications. MCSE, CCNA and similar industry certifications preferred. Certified in ITIL V3 foundation.
- Technical proficiency including systems experience, strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills, and issue management in a multi-platform environment.
- Proven record and experience in managing user based issues of 100+ user’s site. Ability to engage and learn.
- Proven ability in managing critical business response processes. These include; infrastructure failures, virus outbreaks, system upgrades mandated by security vulnerabilities and emergency response. These processes include; escalation, notification and communications.
- Experience in supporting and managing data, messaging, and network services to large corporations or large external client base; able to work to meet deadlines and respond to requirements for change; able to draw on experiences to solve the most complex service and support problems.
- Preferred ability and discipline to work and succeed in a fast pace and organizationally complex environment, to effectively adapt to rapidly changing technology, and to lead and manage projects.
- Excellent oral and written communications ability. Must be able to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.

Candidate Profile
- 4- 6 years of experience working in IT in an enterprise Windows 2008 / 2012 environment.
- Bachelor degree/ diploma with Computer Technology emphasis or equivalent.
- ITIL V3 foundation and MCP certified in any Microsoft technology
- Preferably MCSA for Windows 2012 certification and CCNA Certified.
- Extensive experience in administering Windows 2008/2012, Active Directory, and Network firewall.
- Working knowledge on Cisco switches and routers.
- Experience in Wireless access points, Telephone systems and Access control systems
- Proficiency in Microsoft SCCM, DPM server.
- Thorough understanding of office products like Microsoft outlook, Lync, Excel, Word etc..
- Conceptual understanding of LAN & WAN technologies.
- Thorough understanding of the Public network, name resolution, Certificate based authentication and Group Policies
- Working experience with setting up McAfee Anti-Virus desktop and ePO management system.
- Very strong skills in network, server and desktop support.
- Ability to successfully handle multiple tasks while under pressure.
- Excellent problem solving and communication skills, along with the ability to work both independently, and as part of a cross-functional team.
