Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

The primary responsibility will be to assist the with all aspects of technology as it relates to Office, Regional and company priorities. This includes, but is not limited to, personal and technology life cycle management, IT support for client teams, technology break-fix support, functional IT service delivery and support, just as a management of office related IT requirement’s and services.

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Provide a high level of customer service while supporting all assigned case teams and office based staff in a fast-paced environment. Support includes, but is not limited to, office, personal, mobile and output technology and all other technology needs, both in the office and at the client site.
• Assist in preparing and deploying laptops for staff, including configuration and imaging of laptops, support and lifecycle for personal user and computer accounts, active directory, crash plan, user transfers and departure.
• Hardware and software asset tracking and inventory management, lifecycle process controls for HW assets
• Support office meeting room facilities. Provide concierge services for on-site meetings and events in the office.
• Assist IT Manager in local vendor relationship management.
• Support the ITaaSO with the design and implementation of required IT service delivery and support utilization reports, performance indicators and KPIs.
• Assist proactively personal technology health indicators against defined threshold and resolves incidents in order to increase reliability, security and effectiveness of customer work while reducing costs, both in the office and at the client site.
• Maintain tickets for all service activities in the service management toolset provided; Performing and documentation of monthly ticket reviews for your office, identifying areas for improvement and sharing insights broadly
• Participate in local, regional, and global projects as appropriate to evaluate existing systems and recommend technology for upgrade and replacement; evaluate new technologies for potential applicability within the company.
• Understand and effectively discuss services and software provided by IT Services.
• Communicate frequently with end users as well as with local, regional, and global support teams
• Gather feedback and evaluate impact of IT Service offerings
• Provide on-site technical support at special events, e.g., executive speeches, press conferences, offsite meetings, etc.
• Oversee and troubleshoot video conference and telecommunications systems in coordination with regional technical resources
• Achieve annual goals and objectives, developed in cooperation with IT Service organization and local management

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Technology or equivalent experience
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in similar role, ideally in an international company
• Experience in effectively communicating and presenting technical concepts to management, peer group and staff
• Experience working with teams which may include virtual teams
• Experience troubleshooting Windows 7, Office Suite, Internet Explorer, VPN/network connectivity
• Ability to diagnose problems and provide solutions and/or escalate to the appropriate expertise area, including IT Toolbox and other internal BCG resources
• Basic skills in the following areas: PC/laptop hardware, software, telecommunications, mobile devices, networking
• Lifting/moving equipment is required
• Limited travel will be required within the Middle East

To be considered for this position you will need near native English communication skills, excellent customer service skills, problem solving abilities and attention to detail. You would need to be currently working in a similar role for a multinational company in Riyadh and have a transferable Iqama.
