Job description / Role
JOB PURPOSE
The System Support provides maintenance of the computer desktop environment by analyzing requirements, resolving problems, installing hardware and software solutions, and supporting the internal IT Helpdesk.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
• Provide helpdesk support and resolve problems to ensure best service to all employees.
• Monitor and respond quickly and effectively to requests received through the IT helpdesk.
• Utilize and maintain the helpdesk tracking software in order to Monitor Service Desk for tickets assigned to the queue and process first-in first-out based on priority.
• Install, test and configure new workstations, peripheral equipment and software.
• Modify configurations, utilities, software default settings, etc. for the local workstation.
• Assist with onboarding of new users to ensure proper knowledge transfer for IT procedures and basic system know how.
• Ensure each workstation has a computer, monitor, keyboard, mouse, hard drive, and any additional.
• Manage PC setup and deployment for new employees using standard hardware, and software.
Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS
• Bachelor Degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• 2 years of experience in a similar position is preferred
• Certifications such as A+ is preferred
