IT Support Specialist

Job description / Role

The purpose of this role is to provide first line support for the company's staff and monitor IT operations services.

Description

* Provide onsite and remote support to the end user.
* Log and track support tickets and incidents.
* Maintain best practices in IT operations and service desk, like incidents, problems, and access
management.
* Follow up with incidents and issues until user's satisfaction.
* Build and administrate IT knowledge-based library.
* Patch servers and update operating systems and applications.
* Maintain IP telephones, CCTV camera and access control systems.
* Prepare and submit incidents reports to direct manager.
* Managing user accounts as per internal onboarding/offboarding processes.
* Work together with applications team to provide necessary support to business applications and
investigate operational problems.
* Schedule servers' backups.
* Maintain IT assets and inventory.

Requirements

* Microsoft Certified Professional preferred
* 2+ years' experience in IT operations and service desk.
* Experience with Microsoft servers, SQL servers and active directory.
* Knowledge in cisco networks and firewalls.
* Good knowledge in Office365 and Azure portal.
