ITSM Technical Consultant

Job description / Role

Job Purpose

Deployment of IT Service Management and its related processes. He will also follow up and report on the adherence to the ITSM processes in the department.

Key Accountability Areas
- Identifiy processes and methodologies, to ensure effective control and support of service delivery.
- Drive service-related activities through standard processes (i.e. change management, incident management).
- Support project teams in solving business problems through the development of business processes, management control systems and coordination.
- Develop the appropriate project plans, assign team roles and responsibilities, manage scope, deliver milestones, collect and analyze other project metrics to manage initiatives and drive accountability for the accomplishment of work packages and overall business solutions, including status / tracking of project progress and managing project trade-offs across scope, timing, and resources.
- Ensure program Change Control process is defined and complied with (Change Control includes Technical Changes as well as Program Changes such as - timeline, SOW changes etc.).
- Build documentation templates for CRs, design artifacts, test plans/scripts, and work instructions.

- Solve any related problems arise and escalate any complex operational issues.

- Ensure quality requirements to develop effective quality control and processes including specifications for products or processes or related activities.
Business Process Improvement:
- Coordinate well-defined written systems, policies, procedures, and seek automations opportunities as much as possible.

Compliance:
- Comply to related policy and procedures and work instructions.

Health, Safety, and Environment:
- Ensure compliance of relevant safety, quality, and environmental management procedures and controls within defined area of work activity to guarantee safety, legislative compliance, and delivery of high-quality products/services.

Requirements

Academic Qualification
- Bachelor Degree in Information Mgmt. Sciences & Systems

- 5 to 10 Years
