Job description / Role
The project consists on design of multiple ports from the concept phase to the issue of tender documents for construction, including necessary surveys and investigations.
The resource will be part of the Design and Coordination Team located in Riyadh, reporting directly to the Project Manager; he will be responsible to lead the design activity for landside development carried out by the design team based in Riyadh, assuring proper coordination with the design team located abroad and the local Sub-consultants for surveys and investigations.
The engineer must be familiar with current design codes, industry standards and the latest developments in the Ports & Maritime sector, be fully capable to oversee designs and budgets and drive projects from concept design to the tender documents, providing design technical leadership to the other members of the team for his discipline.
Requirements
• University Degree in Civil Engineering
• At least 10 years of professional activity since the graduation year
• At least 7 years of experience in design of landside development for ports and maritime Projects.
• Proven experience as designer of ports, harbors, marinas and waterfront developments.
• Experience on design of naval bases (landside) is a plus.
• Preferred experience in GCC Countries
• Fluent in English
