Lead Discipline Engineer ELV Systems (Data Network/Comm/Radio/PAGA/Security/FAS/SCADA)

Job description / Role

- Responsible for monitoring and inspection of on-site installation activities, and testing and commissioning.
- Witnesses contractors' quality control inspections to ensure that the permanent works are constructed according to the contract, applicable codes, standards, approved drawings, and specifications.
- Witnesses all testing, pre-commissioning, commissioning, and start-up activities to assure contractors' compliance with the approved plans and procedures.
- Reviews contractor-submitted shop and as-built drawings, materials submittals, tie-in procedures, project schedules, and work permits; and coordinates with the concerned departments for obtaining their approval and/or their comments.
- Attend meetings between the stakeholders as required.
- Knowledge in computers and software applications: MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), read construction schedules (Primavera).
- AutoCAD and Micro station is a benefit, but not a requirement.

Requirements

- Has a B.S. degree in Communication Engineering or equivalent.
- Has a minimum of 20 years of field and design experience in communication work, preferably in infrastructure works.
- Has an expertise in ELV (Communication, Data Network, Radio, PAGA, Fire alarm system (FAS), Security, SCADA) systems and equipment.
- An Extensive experience in providing oversight and technical support in design review, procurement and construction management, and application of ELV expertise on infrastructure, distribution networks, and service utility systems.
- Experience in Construction drawings, One-lines, Shop drawings, and Material submittals.
- Familiar with appropriate national and international standards & codes and requirements.
- Preferred previous Saudi Aramco Experience
- Fluent in written and spoken English
