Lead Engineer

Job description / Role

• Ensure that all aircraft are dispatched in a timely manner and handle in accordance to standard procedures with full compliance to relevant airworthiness requirements.
• Ensure electronic ‘Spare Requisitions’ are submitted for all parts identified.
• Carry out daily/nightly RIR reviews for parts required and expiry date. Every effort shall be made to rectify all outstanding RIR during night stop.
• Works with Engineers/Technicians on night stop aircraft to ensure that all works are completed and in accordance with approved manuals and company procedures.
• Carry out other duties as assigned by Aircraft Maintenance Supervisor or his delegate.

Requirements

• Must have 5 years’ experience in Line or Base Maintenance in an Airline or MRO. 1 year of which should be in a Supervisory capacity maintaining the same category and class of aircraft .
• At least a holder of diploma in aviation technical courses or graduate of other engineering courses.
• Holder of A & P / Repairman License, and have held these ratings for at least 3 years.
• GACA A & P License or FAA License or EASA or GACA recognised Airman certificate.
