Overview

We are seeking a Power Systems Reliability & Asset Integrity Engineer to join the Reliability & Asset Management Division (R&AMD) of Power Systems Technical Support Department (PSTSD). PSTSD provide HV Electrical Equipment Specialized technical support to Power Operations. R&AMD is responsible for administrating Power Systems engineering studies, equipment life cycle management, reliability assessments, equipment failure analysis, digital transformation, maintenance strategy reviews & enhancement to ensure safe, reliable and efficient power supply to all company's hydrocarbon production & other support facilitates. In addition to that, R&AMD similarly is responsible to ensure PS readiness and to maintain and administrate Power Systems Tactical Response Plans addressing Saudi Aramco critical facilities throughout the Kingdom by reviewing existing plans, identify gaps, conducting drills against tactical response scenarios, improving recovery strategies and recommendations and evaluate smart technologies that allow fast restoration. The Power Systems Reliability & Asset Integrity Engineer primary role is to be responsible on the development of tactical response plans for SA facilities and to provide assistance to Power Systems operating areas with the required logistic during emergency, Moreover , will be responsible on ensuring the SA mobile and capital assets readiness and healthiness to ensure SA business continuity during emergency.

Duties & Responsibilities

You will be required to perform the following:

Lead initiatives and technologies intended to enhance and shorten our power restoration time.

Leads and recommends new continuous improvement solutions for installations or modifications to improve existing facilities.

Support power system operating areas to restore the power during the tactical response plan activation.

Oversees all PS capital assets and mobile assets conditions and report to needed action to Power system Operating.

Promote the introduction of appropriate new technology and techniques associated within area of expertise.

Communicate complex issues associated with area of expertise in a clear and concise manner both verbally & in writing.

perform Technology project packages development.

Collaborate with internal stakeholders and ensure that SA's current & future requirements are clearly addressed and communicated.

Support technical consultation meetings with External OEM's, Vendors, contractors and service providers of Mobile Assets regarding operational performance, design compliance and maintainability.

Implement compliance with SA and other international standards such as IEC, IEEE, ANSI and BS.

Lead and contribute to incident investigation tasks.

Represent SA on national and international technical committees and fora as required.

Develop and review tactical response plans.

Performs inspections and witnesses tests on all SA Mobile substations and Lindesay towers.

Inspects visually all capital assets across PS to ensure their healthiness

Requirements

Minimum Requirements

The successful candidate should hold a minimum of Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering preferably power engineering working on High Voltage Power Systems Electrical Equipment. Ten (10) years of experience in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical Industry or Power utility in the field of Power Systems Reliability & Asset Integrity Management.

Shall have hands-on field experience in power equipment maintenance and operation.

Shall have a solid experience and knowledge in substation equipment design, testing, installation, commissioning, as well as having wide knowledge in O&M new technologies.

Familiar with emergency preparedness and power business continuity programs.

Certified in Business Continuity Management (BCM), Certified Enterprise Risk Management (ERM).

Demonstrate specialist skill level of design and operation of Medium and High Voltage Power Equipment.

The ability to build and develop effective relationships with internal and external contacts, including good written and oral communication skills.

Requires strong awareness of resource management, such as system access, safety, contractor and manufacturing capability.

Requires effective influencing skills and the ability to apply this capability in a global matrix organization.

Good problem solving, decision making and analytical skills.

Good knowledge in Mobile assets maintenance, transportation, and Pre-commissioning.
