Job description / Role
Lead Solar Thermal Engineer required for a power plant in KSA.
The client is a Global engineering consultancy who has expertise in power & energy projects
Duties Include:
• Inspecting the contractor’s execution activities, verifying compliance with execution drawings and documents (erection methodology)
• Finalizing the design review activities of the discipline for which he is responsible for
• Analysing and approval of erection procedures proposed by EPC contractor
• Control of site supplies unloading activities and temporary storage;
• Holding weekly meetings with the Contractors: progress, problems, interfaces
• Liaise with the Client site team on technical matter
• Monitoring the execution of the Site Quality Control Plan of the EPC Contractors for the solar field erection while ensuring
compliance
Requirements
Have at least a bachelor degree in Engineering concentrated in Solar Energy or Thermal Power with a minimum 10 years of solar industrial energy equipment installation.
Previous experiences in similar projects as senior solar engineer supervising erection in thermal power plant projects.
Experience in Nuclear Power Plants is a plus.
