Logistic Manager

Job description / Role

• Strategically planning and managing logistics, transportation and accommodation.
• Directing, optimizing and coordinating full order cycle.
• Keep track of quality transport movement, transport costs, accommodations (Hotels and resorts) and accommodation cost efficiently.
• Comply with laws, regulations, policies, and procedures.
• Plan and deal with any unexpected changes as per the project requirements and client specification (If Any).
• Well, verse with all the transport regulations and bylaws of the ministry of transportation.
• Ensure and negotiate the best possible deals with different hotels and airlines for different destinations and locations.
• Develop and maintain the processes by performing regular studies and research.
• Enhance the deals and working procedures by adopting new and innovative methods.
• Develop efficiently structured data collecting systems and calculating the statistical data on which proper requirements and needs analysis would be based on past/present and future.
• Develop logistics by having new contracts and analyzing problems and producing new solutions.
• Allocating and managing staff resources according to the changing needs.
• Develop and maintain travel and transportation systems, processes, procedures and policies on domestically and international routes and ensures business needs are met on time accurately.
• Develop methods and connections with new vendors to support business needs pertaining to accommodation and transportation in achieving organization demand and minimizing cost impacts.

Requirements

• Bachelor degree in relevant field.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience,3-5 years in Managerial Level.
• Previous experience in Logistics, Catering, Fleet Management, Travel, and Accommodations.
• Good IT skills, and knowledge of the relevant computer packages.
• Efficient organizational and Problem-Solving skills.
