What you will be doing
• The Logistics Distribution Supervisor supervises the Logistics Distribution Team Leaders, ensuring smooth and effective coordination of distribution activities within your appointed region.
• Responsible for the planning and routing of all vehicles and ensures that all jobs are carried out to both the Customers and Company's standards and within a Safe Working Practice.
• Supervisory Supervise the route planning and deliveries to customers
• Monitor the loading of vehicles and appropriate documentation
• Responsible for the efficient and effective daily operation of the Fleet.
• Evaluates, training needs for personnel. Directs, assigns and monitors the work of staff.
• Assists administrative staff in setting work schedule priorities to ensure deliveries are completed in a timely fashion.
• Make recommendations that would improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the distribution operation.
• Liaise with customers on the status of deliveries
What you'll need to succeed
• Minimum 5 years in Warehousing, Distribution or similar industries
