Logistics Manager

Job description / Role

Expanding multinational chemical business is seeking an experienced Logistics Manager to join its Saudi operation.

The role is varied and includes developing the function strategy, managing customer orders/deliveries cycle from order management through to trade compliance/ import/export clearance. You will handle transport companies for road, sea and air shipments, ensure QA standards and safety rules are adhered to, manage customer complaints, handle vendor invoices, manage any government requirements. Your remit will also include supervising the team to complete documentation, IMPEX, duty exemptions and internal coordination with departments. A full spec is available.

Requirements

The ideal candidate MUST have experience from a multinational business (ideally chemical sector) with a high volume of sea freight imports and exports as well as knowledge of road transport in the GCC and KSA. You will be experienced in the Saudi market with knowledge of customs procedures and trade compliance and have both warehouse and team management experience. Excellent English and communications skills are essential and SAP is highly preferred. A TRANSFERRABLE IQAMA is a MUST for non-Saudi applicants.
