Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

- Prepare maintenance plans for all equipment in the Section, identifying specific requirements, anticipated manpower, work hours and material.
- Plan the annual plant shutdown maintenance in collaboration with Maintenance Department and Operations Coordinator, submit plan to Section Head for approval and communicate plan to Operations Coordinator and Shift Supervisors.
- Plan and coordinate all maintenance activities in a section, in compliance with safety standards, with a view to create the least disruption to operations. Thorough specific knowledge of plant equipment unit operation and troubleshooting.
- Coordinate between Section Manager and Maintenance Department to priorities maintenance activities in the Section and coordinates the implementation of scheduled maintenance programs.
- Ensure that maintenance jobs meet requirements and complies with Inspection and safety codes, safety regulations, and maintenance standards.
- Take immediate maintenance action in the event of emergencies such as fire or equipment failure.
- Assist in the development of improved work methods, job simplification and standardization to eliminate unnecessary work and develop an optimum interval for performing maintenance work.

Requirements

Qualifications:

- High School or Diploma in relevant field
- 15+ years' worth of experience where min. 10 years within a plant operator(field, console and shift supervisor) role in the refinery or petrochemical field(polymer plant preferable)
- Teambuilding and supervisory skills
- Polymer Plant experience is required
- Good command of the English language (Verbal and Written)
- Ability to handle process plant safety and related safety management
- Ability to understand thorough operation procedure and steps to be done
- Strong Coordination and decision-making skills
- Planning skills
