Maintenance Mechanical Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Mechanical Engineer to join our team in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of mechanical systems and equipment in the oil and gas industry. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the maintenance and reliability of critical infrastructure in a dynamic and challenging environment.

Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute maintenance activities for mechanical systems and equipment in accordance with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical issues to identify root causes and implement effective solutions to prevent reoccurrence.
- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure the reliability and availability of machinery and equipment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize maintenance schedules and minimize downtime.
- Utilize predictive maintenance techniques and condition monitoring tools to identify potential failures and implement proactive maintenance strategies.
- Participate in the development and implementation of maintenance procedures, standards, and guidelines to enhance the overall efficiency of mechanical operations.
- Provide technical support and guidance to maintenance technicians and operators to ensure safe and effective execution of maintenance activities.
- Document maintenance activities, equipment performance, and failure analysis to facilitate continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field; Master's degree is a plus.
- Professional engineering license or certification is highly desirable.
- Proven experience in maintenance and reliability engineering within the oil and gas industry.
- In-depth knowledge of mechanical systems, rotating equipment, and industrial machinery.
- Proficiency in utilizing maintenance management systems and predictive maintenance tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make sound technical decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
- Demonstrated commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and challenging environment, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
