Our client is founded by the Saudi government to bring all communities together and develop all sectors and fields with innovative solutions. The organization generates over $24 million in sales and has over 850 companies and 700 employees.
They are currently looking for a Manufacturing Enablers & Development Manager to be based in Saudi Arabia.

Duties & Responsibilities:
• Ensure the implementation of the function’s approved policies, procedures and processes
• Help review the operating model of the function to optimize operational effectiveness
• Help identify, recruit and develop resources to drive the mandate of the ‘Manufacturing Enablers’ function within International Manufacturing Investor Attraction
• Lead/support the development and implementation of all necessary enablers required for the Manufacturing Investor Attraction teams to succeed with the attraction of world-class manufacturers across the seven prioritized manufacturing clusters. Focus will be on (not exhaustive):
- Manufacturing regulations and policies
- Market access (e.g. preferential procurement and off-take guarantees)
- Workforce development
- Establishment of ‘Investor Care Center’ (one-stop-shop)
• Continuously improve and establish processes and frameworks to streamline the investor journey and build in necessary governance
• Close gaps / solve pain points in the investor journey by problem solving and developing new solutions (both for virtual and physical touchpoints)
• Represent the Manufacturing Sector and Investor Attraction function in numerous cross-functional projects by providing manufacturing requirements and subject matter expertise (E.g., development of other organization regions, quantification of energy and water requirements, and residential development projects)
• Offer expertise and support to manufacturing cluster leads in deal structuring and negotiation, where necessary

Requirements

Qualification & Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree/ preferably a master’s from an accredited university in Business or Manufacturing / Industrial Engineering or related disciplines
• Master’s in Business Administration is an added advantage
• Extensive proven experience in strategy and business development in a wide array of fields
• Passionate about manufacturing and with a solid understanding of manufacturing ecosystems
• Experience from manufacturing footprint expansion decision making and understanding of key criteria influencing the decision-making process
• Exceptional project management skills and with a track record of successful development and implementation of cross-functional projects
• Strong team building and team management capabilities and with strong stakeholder management capabilities
• Good interpersonal skills and Senior Management Experience from Industry to enable engagement with Senior Executives with a view to developing business opportunities
• Good business acumen, financial & economic analysis/development, abstract problem solving and logical reasoning
• Preferred experience from strategic or business consulting, but with a few years industrial work experience
• Strong presentation skills and exceptional presentation preparation and MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) capabilities
• Character and willingness to perform in a fast-paced, startup-like environment
