Role Summary:
As the Operations Leader, you will direct and manage the work of hourly employees in execution of production operations within the "Post-Cast" Cell of a Heavy-Duty Gas Turbine Manufacturing facility. You will be expected to make business critical decisions in a timely manner and meet safety, quality, production, and delivery metrics within the plant.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Direct the activities of an hourly team.
- Achieve and maintain highest safety levels in the plant
- Develop, coordinate, lead and execute daily production plans
- Responsible of level loading, manpower allocation and production execution to meet customer want dates.
- Monitor processes FPY “first pass yield " and set projects to improve the FPY percentages by working with other professionals such as quality and engineering team to improve the processes and the employees.
- Responsible of leading the team to achieve the targeted applied hours / utilization percentages.
- Develop and implement process controls
- Strategic planning of manpower, equipment and other resources
- Develop, mentor and motivate team in safety, quality, productivity improvements and career.
- Coordinate resources to achieve goals with a timely and cost-effective strategy
- Provide technical support to the team during Qualification process
- Being the vocal point between the management and the team.
Requirements
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent with a minimum of 2 years of experience in a Production Supervisory role.

- Previous supervisory / leadership experience in a manufacturing environment

- Strong technical, analytical, and diagnostic skills
