Employment: Full Time

Our client, a large family group with multiple international brands and locations across Saudi Arabia, has exclusively engaged Charterhouse to assist in a search for a Marketing GM (Arabic / English speaking) to be based in Riyadh.

The role focus will be to create strategy, tactics and actions in order to effectively meet the marketing plan and achieve company goals. You will be working as part of the senior management team, liaising on a day-to-day basis with commercial, merchandising and operational teams to create and carry out promotional activities.

You will be required to lead a marketing team including e-commerce, art work creation, advertising and CRM systems. In addition, you will be responsible for completing staff appraisals, managing performance, coaching and motivating the team to achieve goals and moving the business forward. In addition, you will manage budgets, analyse variances and create and manage a market research database.

Requirements

The successful candidate should be a self-motivated leader, experienced in the Saudi market with specific knowledge of the retail sector, ideally furniture and electronics. It is imperative that you are accustomed to high pressure situations and able to work to tight deadlines. Experience of e-commerce website development and content management is essential.

To be considered for this role you should be fluent in both English and Arabic. You should also hold a marketing Degree and have a minimum of 5 years marketing experience and 2 years experience in KSA. As this role will require travel across the Middle East, you should have the freedom to travel with no visa restrictions.
