Position Description

We are seeking a mechanical engineer to join Project Coordination Division of PD&T Projects & Technical Support Department.

Project Coordination Division is responsible for providing the development and coordination for all Pipelines, Distribution & Terminal capital projects.

The mechanical engineer primary role is to provide engineering related technical support and project coordination to Pipelines Distribution & Terminal respective departments during the various phases of design, inception and execution of new projects.

Key Responsibilities

You will be required to perform the following:
• Act as PD&T Senior Operations Representative for Pipelines, Distribution and Terminal capital projects from initiation phase until the completion of Detailed Design phase.
• Review and endorse projects related documents (project execution plan, design basis scoping document, project proposal, detailed design, project change request, etc.).
• Participate in project weekly progress, technical review meetings, Value Improvement Practices, HAZOP, etc.
• Support integrated project team leaders and project sponsors in coordinating Gates meetings.
• Lead & coordinate Facility Master Plans and PD&T Business Master Plans development.
• Lead new Capital Projects submittals for relevant Business Plans annually.

Requirements

Minimum requirements
• As the successful candidate you will hold a Bachelor degree in mechanical engineering from a recognized and approved program. An advanced degree is preferred.
• You will have five years of experience in pipelines, distribution and terminal including: such as Be hydraulics, thermodynamics and fluid mechanics
• Have a good understanding of typical office applications used in the industry
• Familiar with Saudi Aramco and international standards such as ASME, API, etc.
