Our client hospital is considered one of the leading JCIA accredited hospitals in the eastern region of Saudi Arabia.
The hospital has 112 beds, including a 6 bed Intensive Care Unit, 5 bed Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, 4 Operation Rooms, 4 Delivery Rooms, Medical,Surgical, Paediatrics, Day-Surgery and VIP Wards.. The hospital is part of a group of 4 Medical Cities located in Riyadh, Jeddah and Al Ahsa with over 2000 beds between them.

The Emergency Department sees up to 4000 patients per month and the out patient clinics see up to 7000 patients monthly. Other services include a Cardio Unit and Endoscopy Unit.

The Hospital has excelled in the treatment of obesity under the supervision of outstanding medical team to conduct rare gastric bypass surgeries in the region. 399 successful surgeries have been carried out so far.
There is Obstetrics and Gynecology clinic that is run by specialized consultants. There is also an Asthma clinic for immune and biological treatments
The Hospital's location between Dammam, Al Khobar and Dhahran -the most important cities in the eastern region- make it a strategic location.

Description
Unit Name: Labour & Delivery (L&D), Ante-Natal, Post-Natal

Patient Population:
- Obstetrical patients over 20 weeks gestation with or without high-risk or other pre-existing conditions and newborns.

Number Of Beds:
- 3 L&D suites, 1 High Care bed, 2 Assessment room beds, 1 O.R., 2 Induction Beds, 17 beds Post & Ante Natal (to be expanded to 25 in the near future)

Occupancy Rate:
- 95 - 100%

Hours of operation:
- 24 hrs. / 7 days a week

Primary Patient Diagnoses / Conditions:
- Ante-natal patients with high risk factors such as PIH, HELLP, Diabetes, Multiple gestation, Pre-term labor, APH
- Laboring patient with or without high risk factor as PIH, HELLP, Diabetes, Multiple gestation, Pre-term labor etc.
- Laboring patients with or without pathological conditions e.g. cardiac, renal, neurological, cancer condition etc.
- Management of the normal peuperium as well as complications during the peuperium such as puerperal pyrexia, urinary tract infection, deep vein thrombosis, post partum hemorrhage
- Sickle Cell Anemia and Anemia.

Requirements

Requirements:
- Registered Nurse with a current Nursing license
- Bachelor Degree in Nursing (Western standard)
- Specific Certification as required in area of assignment
- Three (3) years current clinical experience in specific area plus two (2) years in comparable management position
