Job description / Role
Our client is one of the leading logistics and Supply Chain Company. They operate in over 50 countries and employ over 10,000 employees.
They are looking to hire an Ocean Freight Procurement and Pricing Manager for their office in Dammam
Duties & Responsibilities:
* Leading the Procurement/Pricing Team
* Procurement for FCL and LCL rates
* Communication and Coordination with shipping lines
* Prepare quotations for all accounts (General quote request, ad-hoc requests, TM Requests and PA Network requests) applying the pricing policy and ensuring responses are handled in line with Objectives
* Maintain customer quotations and tariffs, including monitoring rate expiry, increase notifications and renewals
* For assigned product/s administer and communicate supplier surcharge changes to sales team and product i.e. GRI's, Fuel Surcharges, Security Surcharges etc.
* Follow up on quotes requests to relevant departments (Sales, Product, TM or The company Network)
* Attending Weekly Pipeline Meeting with Product and Sales and report meeting minutes to Country Head of Ocean
* Analyze relevant post mortem feedback on all quotes
* Analyze and report to relevant stake holders received Target Rates from customer
* Provide monthly report on all competed quotations
* Managing Customer profitability under the accountability of Product Head
* Ensures adherence to Regional Trade Lane Manger Pricing Guideline and Carrier Policy
* Analyze current Market Rates and determine whether it is consistence with Pricing Guideline
Requirements
Qualifications & Experience:
* Bachelor Degree
* Working experience (minimum 5 years)
* Industry experience (minimum 5 years)
* Good interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
* Organized, flexible and able to work under tight deadlines
