Online Systems Analyst

Job description / Role

• Agile Implementation, administration and operation of front-end services and applications such as App, Website, Web Self-care, e-commerce and online services
• Manage online systems and customer interactions
• Operational responsibility to manage the front end digital estate
• Support Online and IT Systems Manager in operation of Core IT and back-end systems.
• Manage and document releases and system changes
• Agile implementation and delivery of new functionalities, applications and systems
• Availability of the front end and online services
• App store/Play store acceptance of submissions
• Documentation of design references and operational procedures of the systems
• Vendor/developer relationship and deliverables
• Time-stamps for downtime of online services to track KPIs
• App store rejection/approvals for submissions
• Sprint cycle length and delivery timelines (Planned vs Actual)

Requirements

• At least five years of technical experience working with Web applications, Web design, enterprise applications, App development and relational databases
• At least one year of experience must have been in a management or supervisory capacity demonstrating the ability to perform effective supervision of systems and people
• Track record of successful management of the implementation Web applications and App services within a fixed time frame
• Knowledge of mobile network technologies is a plus
• Deep understanding of mobile app ecosystems including iOS and Android application design
• Work in an agile development environment that enforces Scrum methodology
• Experience with work estimation and work planning
• Experience working with and managing globally distributed teams (onshore, offshore, near-shore)
• Experience driving business development and customer relationship management efforts
• Excellent interpersonal, consultative, organizational & presentation skills
• Ability to prioritize & manage work to critical timelines in a fast-paced environment
• Experience in the retail / e-retail / e-commerce domain
• Experience with payment gateway implementation
• SQL query knowledge
• XML programming experience
• Integration Services and API experience
• Ability to plan, co-ordinate and prioritize activities
• Experience in managing supplier relationships
• .NET programming experience is a plus
• PMP/Prince2 is a plus
• Graphic design experience is a plus
• Java/ J2EE (JSP/Servlets/EJB), JQuery experience
• Linux Command line experience
• Linux administration is a plus
