You will be providing Commercial Support to the regional General Manager of the business and will be responsible for the following:
Provide commercial support and assistance to the GM in sales contracts
Prepare the management accounts, budgets and forecasts with assistance from shared services
Analyse business performance against key business metrics and document pertinent financial highlights that enable management to track progress against budgets and also improve financial performance
Work with the shared services team for continuous improvement in the processing of transactions and meeting deadlines in group reporting obligations and monthly and year end accounts
Identify, investigate and analyse potential operational improvement as appropriate, based on findings make proposal for operational changes (policy, procedures, processes etc.)
Work closely with the shared services team to ensure completeness and accuracy of accounts
Evaluate capex proposals commercially and advise the local management
To be successful you must have/be:
Bachelor's Degree as a minimum, ideally a Qualified Accountant (CA, CPA or ICWA)
Have minimum 3-5 years’ in a similar Commercial role in a large MNC
Strong experience in P&L statements analysis
Experience in working with big ERP systems ie SAP, JDE, MS Dynamics
Advanced Excel skills – lookup, PIVOT tables
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to communicate efficiently at all levels
